Our house

(This was our house before we moved in)

A little background on the house....

We bought our house 2 years ago (March 2012). It seems like we’ve been living here forever! We bought from the bank, it had been foreclosed for about a year.  They replaced the carpets and painted which was better than we could have excepted!  But thats all they did. It was still pretty dirty! The house was only 8 years old when we bought it but it was full (and mostly still is) of all GOLD fixtures. I’m talking 1980s gold fixtures! We have slowly been replacing them. I have big plans for most of them!

The house is a little under 2,100 sq ft. It’s 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. The laundry room is what sold me on the house! In our rental the washer and dryer were in the kitchen (it was an old small home) so I was so excited to shut the washer and dryer behind a door! Even though we have been in the house for 2 years and have done some updates there are still a ton to do! I’m excited to share past & future projects with you!!!

As you can see by the photo there were 2 big huge bushes in the front flower bed! Those were the first thing we tackled! They are now happily growing on the side of the house where they should be! We have a nice big flowerbed in the front now.

Here are some pictures of the house the first time we toured it! They are just iPhone photos, nothing exciting. And the photos don't do the house justice. Stay tuned for a video house tour!

I don’t a good picture of the backyard from that day. It’s huge! We are a “corner” lot of a cove so we got a huge back yard and small front yard, which works for us!

We have done a few updating but we still have a lot to do!

It's defiantly a work in progress. I can't believe we have been here for 2 years! Happy Anniversary!!!!!
